The day began in such a hush,
Clouds all gray
Typical of May
But unfortunately, I need to rush

Can't stop thinking about yesterday,
About how she made me blush
And that now she knows I got a crush,
Wish that things hadn't gone that way

She won't understand how I feel
Maybe it's better like this
After all, I don't got that much of appeal

Although... I'd kill for a kiss
Who am I kidding? Not even if I kneel
And even then, she'd likely do me a diss
