Breathe
I fall backwards on my bed and land with a muffled thump; my legs and arms are spread in a way that occupies almost all of the bed space. I stare at the ceiling. My heart is slamming into my chest. It hurts in an ache-y type of way; a lot. I shut my eyes tightly, hug my pillow and curl up like a baby. I hug my pillow tightly, my nails digging into it. And I try to breathe.
