In life there will be
Ups and downs
Joy. Pain and misery
Tears, Smiles and frowns

Everyday we make a canvas
With the choices we choose
Our darkest secrets we Don'T confess
Are there exceptions to this rules

Searching for love
Or just to fit in
Seems like it's not enough
Just to be a real friend


To share life's moments
At home or work
Everyday making an atonement 
Breaking a generational curse

We all fight battles
Still out struggles aren't the same
I guess it doesn't matters
When you play mind games

Matters of the heart
Are always weighted
Separate or apart 
With anticipation 

To do right or wrong
Consequences of my sins
Singing the same song 
Father forgive me again

Puffed up or in pride
From this life some put on a show
I'll Always put myself aside
And go with the flow

Everyday a display
Read like an open book
Muffled at things we don't say
But make us take another look


We love. We fight
We hate and we pray
It's a struggle to do right
A constant battle everyday
