My heart has lost lovers, 
My arms have lost hugs. 
 My mouth kept their words, 
My soul did not come to be loved.

The funny thing is that intuition
 Has always warned me,
But my stubbornness brought me to my knees.
 It's time to wake up from this nightmare. 

 My skin touched other skins, 
My mouth kissed other mouths. 
My hands were over other fingers, 
My mind melted with other thoughts.

I still have to lose, 
I still have to learn.
I still believe in soul mates,
 I still believe in true love.
