                         Dreams  and  Ambitions  

Do you  have  a dream or ambition ? 
I had one,  of course , when I was young.
Do  you  follow  through  to make sure  it comes  true?
Me?  Sorry, I didn't .  I just  let it go.

It was  an  impossible  one,  unreachable  too,
It was  not  worth  dying  for.
But it would  take  a lot of sacrifices,  that I know , 
But  again, who knew , it might  have  come  true !

Now  that  life  is  beyond  prime,
Do I look   back and  ask myself,  What   if?
Not at all ,for  those   yesteryears are too far gone,
They are not coming  back and no more second chance.
