From the heart you would later tether
Consider this another letter
Stained with honesty
By a heart broken artfully

An attachment that remains ambiguous
And simultaneously conspicuous
These are words I'd rather conceal
Under the pretence that one day I'll heal

To this logic I now appeal
I've always adviced you to feel
Sacrifice eternity for something real
So I'd like to explain this ordeal

Truths I'm now forced to reveal
Like how circumstances have never been ideal
Like how time with you has been surreal
Like how I'm a heart you would unintentionally steal

Never forget to feel what you feel
