How long to wait in the dark.
  How many lies to believe their truths. 
 How much more to lose to win again, 
How much more to endure the pain
 To break my tears through poetry.

  I can pretend I'm heartless,
 I can pretend I don't think about you,
 Ignoring you for hours.

  I can talk a lot without meaning,
 I can make you laugh
While I need a warm smile over. 

 The hours go by without a change, 
The days go by without telling me what's next.
  I stay behind, looking west.

How long to wait in the dark.
