Take my heart out of my chest, 
Take my skin off my flesh. 
 Put a beautiful dream inside my nightmare,
 Put an emotion inside my brain.

  Take my veins out and leave me a guitar string,
 Take my eyes out and let me bleed.  
Break my sheets of poetry, 
Break my fingers and let me scream 
Over the blue sea tonight... 
Over my unfulfilled dreams.

  I will show you where I hid my soul, 
I will show you where I would like to be now.
I leave you the pleasure of killing my breath,
 It is something that belongs to you -
 My blind - my dumb life.
