Drops of dew 
Drops of rain 
Drops of tears that were once ours 
Drops of blood
Which was wasted on a table 
An egg as mirror-shiny 
Like a shimmering sea at night
A lonely soul 
Which carried on several lives 
Who once lived another life 
somewhere other than here
than where you and 
I are 
An old soul who was wise and prudent 
Who had read everything in a book
Drops of dew 
Drops of rain 
Drops of tears that were once ours
Drops of drops that never ran out 
Drops of drops that turned into an ocean 
of grief and tears 
who never wanted to ebb out
