Somewhere in the dark

I could see a false beam

Wondering the truth

I still believed the false...


It called me with a wave

Never did I imagine

That I would return with such pain!

I thought it would light up my path

But the false made it go dark...


Now I stand in the lighted path

Where there are birds that chirp and cars that honks

Though these things are pleasant to my eyes

I am still haunted by the darkness of that lie


Now I realise that it was a false beam

But time either is eaten up or is me

Because only I could change my past in dream
