I smile at you, but you don't see
 The tear behind my lips.  
I take you in my arms, 
But I already know that you can't help me
 Find the strength to have a better life.

  You talk, but sometimes 
I want to make you shut up.
 Just stop hearing lies, 
Stop thinking, stop hurting myself.  

We go hand in hand,
 But our souls are foreign.
We say the same words
 At different times.

I'm cold, the cold rain melts me. 
 I miss being listened to, 
But you can't hear me.
