Watching Fake President's press conference today was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. It now stands, for the moment, as the nadir of his presidency. You could see the veneer of civility stripping away from his face as he argued with the press over who was responsible for the violent fallout of the Charlottesville white supremacy rally. As normal, his perspective and statements were completely in conflict with reality. When asked who should determine if the Robert E. Lee statue should remain or be removed, he said the local government. Well, they did decide that it should be removed via a vote of their city council. That decision was challenged and is still under court action, hence the statue remains for now. His seething petulance was palatable as he further interacted with the press. Fake President once again showed the nation and the world who and what he really is. A total disgrace.
