I listen to my heart beating, 
It has the same blue song I sang to you.  
I feel close to you,
 Although many miles break us
 And leave us behind out of the blue.

  Even if we don't even talk anymore, 
Even if we are strangers with feelings 
And memories from the past,
 There is a huge space left between
 Our arms, our hearts, our lives, our tongues.

 I listen to the silence that tells me 
A thousand words per minute.
 My thoughts make me bleed,
 My lips do not move without your being.


  If you were with me,
 I would smile for no reason.  
if you were with me now, 
You would know how much 
You mean to me, my darling.
