Such a blessing and a curse we are on this planet a talking hairless monkey capable of traveling amongst the stars.

Capable of building great and towering cities and unimaginable medicines and technologies thought to be of myth and legend.

We are also capable of great atrocities cures and medicines found in weapons of war our structures and materials based on defense against our own kind.

Tremendous energy found by splitting an atom used to evaporate countless lives, therapy for cancer found by using mustard gas to kill our own.

How many lands must we strip bare before we learn?
How many rivers drunk dry?
How many sands stained red?
How many lush lands and forests burned and vaporized before we learn there is enough to go around and it is all pointless fighting.
