I had awoken early that morning,To her drinking from my coffee cupWhile smoking my last cigarette. She had a tear in her eyeHolding out a dear John letter in her hand.I could have tried, but instead gave her her space, and walked out of her life.Closing the door behind meNever to say goodbye, never to know the reason why.I tried so hard, so hard I triedWith a tear in her eye, all she could say was that I tried. Now there is no more blue,- nor darkened of sky.The once colors - like my memories, both blur a little more,as each day goes bye.As our picture turns to greyAll our memories slowly fade.Acting - are our last wordsTo extinguish our once - forever flame. As memories become a blur,as our page takes that turn.We watch all our words turn grey, like falling ashesSlowly to burn, slowly float away.Turning both the skyAnd our pictureTo greyG-BUDA
