You left a mark on me,
 In all the relationships I've had after you,
 It's never been the same.  
I've never been the same as I was with you. 

 I smile but the emptiness of my smile
 Cannot be filled with a cold mouth, 
With a warm breath, 
With a simple touch of the hand.  

You left a sigh that no one can hear.  
You left a wound that sticks to my skin.  
You left memories that live like dreams.
You left me but I couldn't leave you.
