Is what we have really so delicate?
Must I proceed with caution?
Waiting to see what will blossom
Now my responses are hesitant
I am willing to risk it all
Just to have you
To call you my beau
But now I fear the chances are small
You said it was me you would have chosen
But these chains are too tight
Too hard to loosen
It’s you I want to save me
But now I fear it’s you who wants to be free
What went wrong?
Am I asking for too much?
Is what we have really so delicate?
I can’t help but be hesitant
I long and crave for your touch
My heart, to you, it belongs
