"You are perfect as you are",
I have never heard these words before.
I was good as long as I paid attention,
When I was there, as long as they had
Good intentions with me.They changed the rhythm,
I didn't know how to dance.
They changed the lyrics,
I didn't know how to sing their words.They changed me quickly,
I was just a spare wheel.
They only remembered me
When I was no longer there.I cried, I thought my life would end,
I swore I would never love anyone again,
But life taught me to breathe again.
Look at me here, still standing...
Waiting for another day to squeeze it.
