There are many cities that keep us at a distance,
 But we find ourselves in each other's thoughts,
 And we are happy even if
I can't keep you close to my eyes.

 There are mouths that say it wouldn't work, 
But my heart has been beating
 In your chest for so long...  

There are days when we are a whole,
 There are nights when I can barely 
Remember your favorite song.  

There are hours when I miss you,
But I don't say a word to you.
 There are minutes when I would like
 To hug you tightly without making a sound.

These are your breaths that I would like
 To hold in my lungs.
These are your touches that I would like 
To hide under my flesh.
