I can't detach myself from the past,I can't pretend to be wholeWhen shards of incomplete dreamsCross my mind sighing -Hurting my ego with old feelings.I can't smile freely like I didWhen I didn't know I could be hurt,Killed or forgotten by the personI loved completely and innocent -Through my painful glance once in a lifetime.I can't be the way anyone wants me to be,My thoughts don't match their lies.I can't give up the pain evenIf I've been healed for a long time,And I don't care so much about what's to come,What should I forget in orderTo smile at them back.©roxana91
