I've been sad for too long
 Trying to be happy.  
I was misunderstood trying
 To understand what was going wrong
 With my life. 

 I hear their screams,
 But I can't move my legs.
  I hear anything...
 But I act like I'm deaf.
  I'm tired. I'm tired of anyone, of anything.

 My thoughts hold me like a prisoner
 With no right to defense.
Caught in a life that does not belong to me.
