There's repeats upon repeats
To keep us glued to our seats
At one time to entertain
Now they wash our brain
Giving us a thousand shows
Nobody will be able to grow
To keep our eyes from turning
And nothing helps our learning
To keep us as the viewer
They dont want any fewer
The effects get more wilder
We need things a bit milder
Channels increase constantly
They remind us consistently
Commercials on regularly
Do we need that , hardly
Could we do without a TV
Music or reading it could be
And for a few channels it's pricey
With other bills it gets dicey
You can talk in person maybe
With that there's no cost or fee
