For you to get to me
Gave you a hundred reasons

Yet you took my love for granted
And now we are apart.

Gave you a piece of my mind
For you to understand me
Gave you a thousand songs
For your pleasure
Yet you walked away
And now we are apart.

I still love you
Even though we are apart
I light a candle each night
Hoping that one day

Long lonely days
Silent lonely nights
