It is 3 in the morning when my inner alarm goes off, usually this means there is an opportunity waiting for me to act upon. I slowly get out of bed, being careful not to wake James, and open the doors to his balcony. Looking over the edge, I decide it'd be easier to just teleport out of here than to take a chance and wake James up by going out the front.

Teleportation was one of my harder powers to adapt to, it can have some very obnoxious side affects when you're a first-timer. After 3 years of using it, I've grown used to how to work it. 

I teleport myself to my quarters in the V.I.L.I.N bunkers to retrieve my outfit. When I had first received my powers, the costume I had created was childish and unfashionable. As an Adult, I have created a much better costume, with the help of our designer Jay. 

My costume may not be the ideal one, but it allows for easy movement and it is specially designed around some of my powers. Traditionally, we villains stray from using bright and cheery colors, but I like to add a splash of something to mine. Of course, capes are a big no-no due to a few unfortunate mishaps... 

Once I'm fully dressed, I grab my equipment bag, and yes, it is a bit odd for a Villain to carry an equipment bag. However, you never know what you'll be faced against, so I find it best to be prepared. I'm not sure what I will be doing tonight, I rarely do. So, I turn on my desk monitor and look into the assignment details. 

When the monitor starts up, a new folder appears to the left of the screen, which could only mean one thing, my new assignment is going to be a big one. I open the folder and within I find pictures of a new Hero who has arrived in town. There are details on him and his many abilities, he ranks within the same range as myself, a 5. Those given a 5 rating are among the strongest of their kind. 

This means defeating him will not be an easy task when the time comes. I scroll further into the file and what follows are several pictures of banks within my teleporting range. There are 3 to be exact, Tri-state Banking and trust, Silverhedge Banking, and Ironfort Banking. The file contains pictures of the safes that I will be faced against. They seem fairly easy for the most part, nothing out of the ordinary. 



Note: Costume similar to chapter picture, but blue mask thing is attached at the shoulders and does not drape down.
