Sun is bright today

It will melt some of

The snow away



The heat from the sun

Feels so very nice

But winter was fun



It's cool outside now

The temperature

Is below zero



It's tolerable though

The wind is chilly

No coat and you will know



Ice has formed now so

Be careful walking

And of a rivers tow



The streams overflow

After a spring thaw

Now they are not so low



Before we even know

It will be spring and

Things will start to grow
