Waiting to hear from you

Seems like an eternity

The second drag like hours

Time has gripped me firmly



I am so glad that I called

I heard you are under the weather

To get in bed you crawled

Please let me help you get better



I will come around noon

With some soup and medicine

I will be over very soon

Is there anything else I could bring



I am here and brought stuff with me

I hope youre feeling alright

Maybe you would like a tea

I'm here to make you right



Here's some chicken soup for you

And also a few biscuits

Eat then sleep wake up feeling new

Later you can regain your wits 



Before I leave to go home

I want to say this to you
