You told me you'd be here
 In a few minutes,
But you came after hours.
I waited for you for hours,
 But you came after days. 
 (But you came after days, my lover.) 

I waited for you for days
 But you came after months.
 (You came, you came after months.) 

 I've been waiting for you for months, 
But you came after many years.  
I've been waiting for you for years, 
But I honestly don't think 
You'll ever come here.

Maybe you will come,
Maybe you will be,
 Only in my dreams and fears.

 Always late,
 I forgot to shine.
  Even though you changed,
 I stayed in the same place -
Waiting for you! 

I waited for you,
But you forgot to come.
 I waited for you for hours, 
Days, months, years, 
But you took your steps
 Instead to another path...

I'm still here - waiting for you,
Waiting for you in vain!
