I once knew
What spirituality was
But my child self knew better
Where the gods dwelled.

In my wandering
Over and over the same circle
With its ponds and magical places
I did sing songs. 

What songs, I don’t remember
But they were for the land, 
For th Natures
Who I knew then, so intimately.
