I don't miss people, I miss places.
The waves of the sea still whisper to me. 

 I don't miss voices, I miss words.
Some words have power, some voices don't.  

I don't miss the looks, I miss the feelings.
I don't miss anyone, I miss the feeling 
Of "safe home and quiet".  

I don't miss the summer, I miss the sun.
I don't miss the touches.
I miss only the breaths and the slow steps Towards the sea, the field and the mountains.

 I don't miss kisses, I miss feeling
 Warm smiles on my face, soul and heartbeat.

I don't miss people,
 I miss the places that made me
 Feel good about myself, 
Without trying to change me... as people did/do.
