Moments to be cherished
Suddenly I feel remorseful 
The longing to see you

Such lingering feelings 
A sinful proposal 
A friend's betrayal 
Looked upon with dismay

A friend not too far away
Whence opportunity comes my way
My emotions in battle array 
I run from the light ray 

Your brightening presence 
Your awesome performance 
Putting me off my feet
Where shall I meet 

Ghastly, I turn my back on everything 
It shouldn't be something 
It never should have been
A mistake to begin with 
My tribute, I leave you with
What a sorrowful joy! Tayo!
