Oh my beloved!
Where art thy sting
A moment of pleasure
A season of affection

Sunsets, sunrise
Days, weeks, months
Times and seasons change
My love, the same

Could a demon fall in love
Or is it just a fiery pit
To be loved in deceit still
A wonderful life of bliss

I found a beau
To carry not just my secrets
But to share my thoughts
And withstand the torture

Perfect, he is not
Handsome, a little bit
Not even the least romantic
But a love, I found in him

A story of old
Exquisitely told
Gifts of gold
My heart, an item sold

A price not befitting
Heart wrenching, mesmerising
Shatteringly eloquent, voluptuous
