The first day she breathed the air
Depent of her mother no more
Born so pretty,so bouncy,so healthy
Free from all
Free from what she now feels
She grew up each step of her life realising her worth
She turned six with dreams for the FUTURE
innocently focused on what she believed to achieve
With the dreams that someday she would become the best of them lawyers
She turned sixteen and the energy faded
And when her Sunday school teacher was busy warning on awakening love,
Tasha was busy,oops!,she was PRETTY
She had forgotten,she had given up on goals
No, maybe she didn't forget
She was just too busy for them
From one to another
I mean from one drama to another
She was young,she so believed
Turning eighteen
It was tears, regrets and pressure for Tasha my girl
All was lost
Tasha is NO LONGER PRETTY,or say,she has realised her worth
NO, she has just remembered her goals
Yeah! She remembered her goals
Lost in the world of confusion,Tasha strives to regain the lost
Oops!, The pressure is high right?
She gives up
And this is where all that she's feeling comes from
Jealousy,regrets, loneliness ,name them
Tasha feels worthless and valueless
Trust me she isn't.
But it's all she just feels
Slowly she locks herself,from them that are SUCCESSFUL she says
From them her age,who she sees to have the brightest of future
INSECURITIES now make the loudest noise
Tasha hates not only herself but anyone around
Sorry that Tasha silences and starts living a life being dictated by her PAST
Sorry to how she now feels
Sorry to how she sees herself
Sorry to how she feels of her body
Sorry to how low she thinks of her capabilities
Sorry to her lost confidence
Maybe this is a feeling
A feeling to overcome
They say that it takes less of a day to build who we want to be
We mess, BUT we LEARN from them MISTAKES,but this is after WE JUST ACCEPT THE WE.
