I walked down a lonely path
Admiring the rhythmic tintinnabulation from afar
I let the droplets of the early morning dew wet me
Still walking along the path,
I came across a red rose
Blazing hot red like a fiery furnace
Demystified as a sign of love
After much struggle
I successfully plucked the rose.
Looking forward,
Was a narrow and blurry path
As though, one would not survive going through it
The sight alone was astigmatic
Yet, I was resolute in my desire to give the rose to you
I successfully brought it to you
You embraced me with love and care.
Suddenly, you retreated
With scorn and disregard written all over your face
You picked the flower and threw it at my face
Leaving me dejected and sorrowful.
