Honey, I told you once, 
Honey, I told you twice.
  Honey, I've told you many times, 
Until I realized that happy people
 Can't understand the sad ones.

  But don't worry, darling, 
One day I'll find my way.
 You have to leave, 
I have to stay alone. 

 Honey, don't worry about me, 
While you'll be happy, 
I will survive sadly. 

 You were a kite, 
I held my hands up.
You were a wish 
I tried to make real too fast.
