Raven eyes dance in moons glowing light.
A mischievous smile, enveloping that laugh.
Wistful sparks within starry summer night.
Where youth outranks all that lay upon our path.

With age comes knowledge, something to pass.
Where dignity is solemn behind painted masks.
Dreamers dare not dream,
Or so it would seem.

Each day this earth turns, as we've learned.
Time becomes ever so fast.
For youthful passion, our aged souls shall yearn.
When all that is left are the shadows of distant pasts.
