Gone are the days when I thought
That all that was good belonged to myself.
Gone are the days when I thought
Love couldn't dry my soul or my laugh.

Gone are the days when I couldn't forget
Words, footsteps, sounds.
Gone are the days when I was a child,
When I was smaller than a tree,
When I got lost, scared or
I was released in the garden by my parents.

Time passed and I became an adult,
I forgot promises,
The shape of the hands of those
Who held my hand straight for long time.

  Time has passed
And now I look at myself in the mirror,
The wrinkles I see are from the storms
And the white nights that
Did not let me rest enough.

The good times are over,
The hard ones will come.
Between the storm and the sun,
Another rainbow is coming.
