You were the light that stayed on 
When all the other lights went out.
Your arms were the part I always missed 
When I couldn't feel your warm hug 
When my heart felt sick.

 If there was a time when I felt safe, 
It was when I kissed your face in the rain. 
 If there was a time when I felt free, 
It was when you first said to me:
 "I love you, my love."

  I will leave a light on, 
I will leave a gate open, 
Even if you get lost now,
 I hope I will find you close to me. 

 I leave the radio on,
 I leave a letter on the table,
 In case you come back in my absence,
 Please read it.

  I have the same number,
 I kept the same love,
