You're walking down a path
One that's rough and jagged in places
There are just as many that are smooth
Sometimes you come to a fork or a T 
You pick left or right and keep on going

You walk down this path
Sometimes confident
Sometimes lost and weak
There are moments you'll never forget
Others you push down real deep

And you're on this path 
Of your own doing
One that has many stories 
Stories that make you smile 
Stories that make you sad

On this path people and places have come gone
Moments that may not be forgotten, but are bittersweet 
Memories we rather not have had 
And others we will cling to for far too long 

But one thing has stayed a constant 
That's you
That's yourself and no one else 
You see, you have grown and changed with this path 
And you will continue to do so

When you get to a point 
A stalemate or crossroads 
A place where the path seems out of your control 
Its okay, just breath
Its alright, close your eyes 

Steel yourself to doubt 
Open yourself to the unknown
Welcome the options 
Embrace uncertianty
