This year has been a mess.
Everything's been going wrong
Money gets tight and soon it's gone.
Elections and riots
Protests turn violent.
I shake my head
And wish for quiet.
So much noise
So much pain
I believe the world
Has gone insane.
Log off Facebook
Turn off the news
Too many distractions
Too much too lose.
I pray for peace
I pray for health
I pray to believe
Despite myself.
