When you hear those words. 
Will you marry me?

Your heart beats faster than you can imagine.
You can't breathe. 
Your chest hurts from the anxiety. 

You look up and quietly say yes. 
Tears in your eyes.

He looks at you smiling. 
You can see the happiness in his eyes. 

Little does he know the tears running from your eyes are not from happiness. 
Your heavy breathing and speeding heart is not from joy. 

You want to say NO!!!
The abuse you have went through before keeps you from being happy. 

You pull away walking down a long grey neverending hall. 
Tears of heartbreak and sadness gushing from your eyes. 
You picture the hall like your walking down the aisle. 
The longest walk of your life. 
Leading to the end. 
End of life
End of happiness.
