They all left, 
But you stayed there.  
Like a mountain, 
You are steadfast, dear. 

 I was talking, 
You didn't say a word.
Bur you recognized my pain
 Behind my sorrowful glance.

  They all left, 
But you stayed there, 
No storm could move you from there. 
I am sure!

Thank you, 
These words mean too little
 For how much you have done for me. 

 You helped me even when I didn't need help
 And you made me feel better 
Even through a simple message you sent to me.

  They all left, 
But you stayed there, 
Held out your hand
 And wiped away every tear.

For everything you've done, 
Thank you, dear!
