Ms. Brite leaves the room.

Eric runs away.

"Well, that was unfortunate", I said.

"Well, we should go", said Mariah.

"Wait! I found some sweets in the principal office and he isn't there or she I didn't check", said Crystal.

"You sneaky girl, let's go", said Mariah.

"I agree", I said.

A few minutes later, we finished eating candy, while walking in the hallway.

"Well, that was easy”, said Mariah.

“Yeah”, I agreed.

“And maybe you can explain where you got all that candy from?” asked an adult.

“The principal’s officials”, said Crystal.

Crystal, Mariah, and I look in front of them and see a man who has short brown hair, white skin, wearing a blue suit and shoes named Yani Noodle.

Yani Noodle looks angry and says “So, you are the girls, I saw on my security cameras”.

Crystal, Mariah, and I hand the candy we haven’t eaten back to the principal.

“It’s okay, you aren’t in trouble, in fact Mariah, Kanisha, I want to talk to you”, said Yani Noodle.

“You do?” Mariah and I questioned.

“Yes, Crystal, you can go to the auditorium along with the other students”, said Yani Noodle.

“Of course”, said Crystal. “See you two later”.

Crystal runs away.

Yani Noodle leads Mariah and I to his office.

Mariah and I sat in chairs by each other.

“Okay, let’s get to business”, said Yani Noodle. “I understand that you aren't used to a school like this, so I must warn you about the people who spread rumors and there are also rivals of this school. So, be cautious of them”.

“Alright, we understand”, I said.

“We already heard about the people spreading rumors, they already started with us”, said Mariah.

“What kind of rumor?” asked Yani Noodle, curiously.

Mariah and I were silent, then we all heard the P.A. System.

“Attention everybody, this is your president of the news club, Dina Chan, there is a new couple named Kanisha and Mariah. Welcome to our school. Oops! Have to go”, announced Dina.

Mariah and I looked red and on the floor being embarrassed.

“Mariah, Kanisha, are you still here?” asked Yani Noodle.

“We are”, I said.

“Who is that Dina?” asked Mariah, as she got up.

“She is the top gossip of our school, and unfortunately my niece, I try to stop her in the act, but she has many ways to keep me from doing it. She’s a clever person”, Yani Noodle explained.

Mariah and I look at each other and smirks.

“Where is her headquarter?” asked Mariah.

“Here’s a map”, said Yani Noodle.

“Excuse us”, I said.

“I must warn you, she’s a good liar”, Yani Noodle warns us.

“Oh, don’t worry we are truth seekers”, said Mariah.

“Good luck”, said Yani Noodle.

Mariah and I close Yani Noodle’s door.

Mariah and I head to Dina’s place and see the door is already open, we enter the room.

“Who are you?” asked Dina.

“Kanisha”, I said.

“And Mariah”, said Mariah.

Mariah and I turn on the lights and see Dina is a girl who has long brown hair, white skin, wearing a blue dress and white heels.

“So, you are the president of the news club, pleasure to meet you”, I said, with a smile.

“What do you want? Ask me to reveal you two aren’t a couple or you want revenge”, Dina asks.

“You are clever, but we don't get revenge, that’s beneath us”, said Mariah.

“You two seem like you are devils in disguise, the way you act”, said Dina, backing up.

“You believe in devils?” asked Mariah, with an evil smile.

“Of course not, but you two seem odd”, said Dina, looking scared.

“Odd, you know that’s what the kids said whenever they got on our bad side”, I revealed.

“I thought you said revenge is beneath you”, said Dina.

“True, but we never said anything about getting even, we just did what they did to us, but ten times worse”, Mariah threatens Dina.

“You can’t do anything to me, I’m untouchable”, said Dina, trying to be brave.

“Untouchable, huh?” I questioned.

“Yeah, I can mess with whoever I want and nobody can stop me, not even my annoying uncle”, said Dina.

Dina unknowingly says that, while her microphone is on.

“Thank you”, said Mariah.

“What? My microphone”, Dina revealed.

“Good job, Mariah”, I high five Mariah.

“Your welcome”, said Mariah.

“You two, I’ll make you pay”, said Dina, about to attack me.

I grabbed Dina’s arm, and knocked her to the floor.

“I don’t know how you expected that to go, but we just won”, said Mariah.

Dina is taken by her father out of the school.

Mariah and I head back to Yani Noodle, he tells us that we did a good job, and to go to the auditorium, also there is a writing competition.

Mariah and I go to the auditorium, where we see Crystal and get surrounded by people who didn’t like Dina.

We became popular fast.

Seems like we are going to love this school.
