A man who dreamt of peace standing at the podium to stay.
Seeking freedom from suffering of long harder days.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness he did softly say.
Only light could do that, is what the good man weighed.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Love is truly the way, the gentle man did pray.
What gentle words empowered one man of what he can say.
To inspire those who gave ear to bring about new days.
Children together so we people could watch them play.
