Remember what it feels like
When someone accepts you
For exactly who you are
Listening without judgement
Making you feel like
The brightest and shiniest star

I had forgotten how that felt
Until a day or two ago
DAMN this guy is good
He could sure put on a show

I so truly despise
Being made to feel like a fool
I've never been into playing games
Not even back in school

I wouldn't be so angry
If someone could tell me
What went wrong
So I could actually understand
But it wouldn't really matter though
Because it seemed as though
The whole scenario was planned

It would make a lot more sense
If he had gotten me in bed
But that never even happened
Yet in the end he fled

The more I ponder
The stranger it seems
For never have I ever been
A part of
Such a heartless game before
Giving no rhyme nor reason
Just complete and total silence
Uttering no more
