There is loneliness
And being alone
Two completely different
Ways to be
And
Unless you've experienced both
There's no way
That you could ever see...
See how good it feels
To be alone
When you're pretty much
Peopled out
But then...
There's loneliness
Which really hurts like hell
Leaving you with sadness
Almost overdosing on the pain
And the never ending
Self doubt
Generally speaking being alone
Is how I like to be
But when the loneliness
Rears its ugly head
I automatically think of You
You and the smile
You're always able
To put on my face
It makes being alone ok
And
The loneliness is something
That I can easily erase
