In times of war, 

You are my freedom.

  In troubled times, 

You are my glory.  
Hug me tight, baby...

 Make room for me in your chest.

Kiss me sweet baby, 

Leave me another kiss on my mouth. 
 In hard times,

 You are the light.

  In uncertain times,

 You are my faith and trust.
 Evenings spent on TV, 

Watching movies together.

 On the weekends we play cards,

 Dancing like crazy.
We drink from the same cup of tea, 

We sleep on the same pillow.

 When we look at each other, 

We forget to blink.

When we kiss we forget to take air.
