I see the shadow of lies
In your serene gaze.
I see the reason for your lies
In his brown eyes.I hear your words hurting my thoughts
And I wonder why,
Do you let others know all
About me and you?I see how you look at him,
Because my eyes are still your mirror.
I see how he smiles at you
And holds your hand,
As if he is more than a friend to you.If my heart had a voice,
It would shout at me to leave.
If my emotions could speak,
It would tell me that they started hating you.If my tears could sing,
They would sing in the choir
To look back at me.
Darling, I just want to close my eyes
To not see anything else that hurts my inside.
