Does forgiveness mean 

Forgiving a person and behaving

 As if nothing has happened before?
  Does forgiveness mean 

Forgiving a person, but not wanting

 To be part of your thoughts, your life, 

And leaving it somewhere in the past? 
 Does forgiveness mean 

Rebuilding what has fallen apart?  

Does forgiveness mean 

Forgiving because you really feel that way,

Or are you afraid to end up hating them?
 I met people I forgave, 

But I would never want to see them again.

 I met people I try to understand first,

 And then learn to forgive them.
I met people who represent nothing to me.  

I met people who represent all -  even now to me.
Does forgiving mean, 

First of all, forgetting everything?
