The flames of love burned my heart a few times,
 When I thought I found the right person,
 I always heard: 
"Goodbye, darling. See you soon."  

The flames of love are difficult to maintain,
 Sometimes you find them only in words 
But never in look, or in souls. 

 What kind of man they thought I was, 
I don't really know. 
 What kind of girls I thought they were,
 It doesn't matter now.

  The flames of love burned
 My thoughts about love for good.
When I thought I found the right person,
 I always heard: 
"Goodbye, darling. See you soon."
