I’d like to drown in bitter tears
With you near me. 
To feel you grab hold tight
As you drown with me. 
To fear the unknown
But my pleasure in knowing
Together
I wouldn’t be alone. 
No helping hand
No distant sound
Only I. 
You’d dare not complain 
As I inflict pain
Who is insane?
Am I the beauty?
Am I the beast?
Who loves the most?
Who loves the least?

I’d like to fall through icy air
With you there. 
I would save you from the drop
But then I die. 
The guilt on you would be too much
And you’d follow. 
Is it something we’d both regret tomorrow?
Who is beauty?
Who is beast?
Am I alive?
Am I deceased?
We are beast
We are beauty
We are alive
We have our duty. 

I never complained
When you’d inflict pain
For I was insane.
